This document explains how to update the BIOS, operating system, and software packages for the sbRIO-9651 installed on the PED-Board. To begin, open NI-MAX and select the PED-Board you want to configure. Then, click Update Firmware
Select the following file
After selecting the file, click Begin Update
Log in as ‘admin’ without anypassword
The update will now start
Wait until it is installed.
Now, select Add/Remove Software by right clicking the tab ‘Software’ under the desired PED-Board
Select the option Linux RT System Image 21.0 and click OK.
Wait for the preparation
Select LabVIEW 2021 and click Next
The window shown below will show up. Select the 18 packages summarized in the next image and press Review Changes
Use this image to select the software in the previous step. Now, double-check the 18 packages and click Continue
Wait for the installation until it is done.
